As the rain came down over Kentucky, Erin Hester came to a stop behind a Jeep to make way for a military funeral procession. It was not out of the ordinary to give the right of way to such processions, in fact in some states it’s the law. But what Erin Hester saw next was truly touching…

Hester still doesn’t know who the soldier is, but said she feels “he will not want recognition as this is probably something that is a part of his core values and does this on a regular basis.” It remains uncertain who the soldier was, but his touching act of honor and respect will not be forgotten.
